Excuse Me! I'm a little busy here!!

We just recently bought Carter his first potty and are trying to encourage him to use it. So far, he sits on it and reads a book, just like Daddy, but has yet to actually use it!
He also likes to drag it out into the living room and use it as a chair!
Hopefully he will figure it out one of these days.

Our First Pony and Boat Ride!

The Foodmans invited us to their mountain house! Of course we jumped at the chance to spend some time with them and their two twin boys, Jack and Parker. Carter and the boys are only one month apart and they loved playing with each other!
Carter went for his first boat ride and didn't completely enjoy himself, he wasn't into wearing his life jacket at all.

Here we are on our first pony ride, myself included. I wasn't expecting to ride also, but that was the only way to get Carter to sit up there. The helmet was a must and they only had kid sizes! What Moms will go through for a good picture!

Froggie Boots

Santa brought Carter some froggie rain boots for Christmas. He likes to wear them for about 15 seconds and then he is on to the next fun thing!

Winter Wonderland

Our first snow storm in the Trademark! It started snowing at about 11pm and after about 15 minutes we noticed that the wind was blowing so hard that it was snowing UP outside our window! Very very strange looking!
We woke up to winter wonderland on our porch the next morning.

The McNeely's came to visit over New Years. Carter and Ava had a great time hanging out with each other, however they did not share a New Years kiss! YET!!! :)

Our Visit with The McNeely's

When Daddy does bath time we end up havin' some fun! Mohawk Man gets to come out and so does the small lake that ends up outside the tub when they are done!

Our Little High Rise Flasher

One of Carter's favorite things to do is run around the house naked and stand in our windows! What kind of kid are we raising up here?

He loves to be thrown on our pillows, he has even started counting 1...2...3!!!

"BOOTS!!"

These are Daddy's boots. One of Carter's very favorite words to say! With Aunt Lou Lou's help, he decided to try them on. His Pop Pop even bought him his own pair, but he has yet to wear them! We will just practice saying it for now. He might actually wear his own later!

New York at Christmas Time!

We all decided to take to little trip to New York City before Christmas, to get us all in the Christmas spirit!! It worked, worked so well that baby #2 was made! :)
Most of you know by now, but if this is a surprise to you, SURPRISE!!!
We are expecting baby 2 in August!

Carter & Kasey

Russ and Meghan, who are great friends of ours from college, stopped through Charlotte before Thanksgiving with their little boy, Kasey!! It's the first time that we have seen him since he was a baby! Kasey will be two in February!
The Boys had an awesome time hanging out and playing at Discovery Place!
We can't wait to see you guys again!

Tulsa Wedding Bells!

Shawn's cousin, David was married this past weekend on the 17th of November in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Congratulations to David and Katie Cook!! We had an amazing time! Thank you so much for having us!
