Carter & Kasey

Russ and Meghan, who are great friends of ours from college, stopped through Charlotte before Thanksgiving with their little boy, Kasey!! It's the first time that we have seen him since he was a baby! Kasey will be two in February!
The Boys had an awesome time hanging out and playing at Discovery Place!
We can't wait to see you guys again!
We love you!

By the way, we love our tool box!! It has become a favorite!

Tulsa Wedding Bells!

Shawn's cousin, David was married this past weekend on the 17th of November in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
Congratulations to David and Katie Cook!! We had an amazing time! Thank you so much for having us!

Apples from Sarina!

Shawn invited Afshin, Beth, and Sarina over to our new place to eat a little dinner! I ran to the grocery store so that we could make something to eat! When I came back, we realized that all of our pots and pans were still at the old house! OOPS!! We made it work somehow, while Sarina and Carter played and shared a yummy apple!

WE HAVE MOVED!!!!

Surprise!!! Surprise!!! We have moved!! I know, I know, everyone is shocked because it came out of nowhere! Well, to be honest, we are shocked too! Shawn and I purchased a condo in Downtown's new residential tower called The TradeMark right before we were married! This place was supposed to be ready to move into long ago, but due to several construction delays we didn't even get to see it until a few weeks ago!! We knew that once we saw this place we would fall in love with it, but at the same time we knew that we wouldn't fit in this two bedroom condo for very long!
So, the walk through happened and we both knew right away that we wanted to live here, even if it meant only being here for a year or so! We made the decision, packed up our stuff, and moved on a whim!
We absolutely love it! The view is amazing!!!

The NC State Jersey!!

Shawn and I went to Las Vegas for a friends surprise birthday party. Grandma, Pop Pop, and Aunt Shannon kept Carter for us while we were gone for the weekend!
When we came home to pick him up, he was wearing a whole new outfit!!!

They had made him an NC State Football Jersey with his name on the back! He was ready to win fan of the year with all of that on!! Go Wolfpack!!!

Our RockyTop Visit!

In October, we decided to get away for a weekend and go to RockyTop in Boone, NC! We saw the beautiful leaves starting to change. The weather couldn't have been better, Carter enjoyed the rocks in the driveway and playing with his Great Aunt Sara!
We also went to Tweetsie Railroad and rode on the train!! Hopefully we will get some good pictures of our ride from Uncle Stephen soon!

Nichols Beach Trip!
